Will my items from my Square store sync to AccountEdge?

No, only paid transactions sync to AccountEdge; items are not synced, in either direction.  
 

Can I sync my customers from Square to AccountEdge?

Yes, you have the option to sync customers into AccountEdge from paid sales as new customer cards, or sync them into one default customer defined in AccountEdge.
 

Can I sync my items from AccountEdge to my Square store?

No, items are not synced between Square and AccountEdge. 


If I have 10 sales from one customer in Square, how will they come into AccountEdge?

All of these paid sales will sync into AccountEdge, tied to one customer, per sync session. 


If I sync 10 sales to AccountEdge for different customers, and I set up AccountEdge to import transactions as new customers, what will happen?

AccountEdge will sync in the 10 paid sales transactions as ten new transactions and set up new cards for each.

 

Are fees synced into AccountEdge?

Yes, monthly as their own sales transaction.
 

If I sync my sales into AccountEdge and inadvertently delete them, can I re-sync them into AccountEdge?

No. But you can view the Square sync logs to determine what transactions were synced.  
 

Where can I find the Square sync logs?

They are located in your Documents> AccountEdge Pro>Square Import folder.

 

Will AccountEdge capture the sales tax I charge customers?

Yes, as part of the Square Setup, you can define a default Sales tax GL account, where all tax collected will be posted.

 

Can I disconnect AccountEdge from my Square store?

Yes, in the Setup window, in the Authorize tab, click the Unlink button if you no longer use Square or if you wish to link to a different Square account.
