Cannot Upgrade - File Greyed Out (Mac)

If the AccountEdge company file you are trying to upgrade is grayed out in the list of files, try this:

  1. Exit the Upgrade Assistant and attempt to open the file you want to upgrade in your new AccountEdge version
  2. The "View All Files" check box is available on this dialog box. Check this box and select your older company file
  3. You will be notified that this file needs to be upgraded and asked if you want to upgrade it now
  4. Select Yes and the upgrade will proceed
