Start by installing AccountEdge on your computer. Once the installation is complete, you can register the software using the serial number provided after enrollment.

Not enrolled yet? You can still install AccountEdge and explore it free for 30 days. When your trial is complete you can register the version of AccountEdge that is already installed, no need to uninstall/reinstall the software.

Before you begin, you may want to confirm your computer meets the system requirements for the latest version of AccountEdge.

TIP: Depending on your system settings, you may need to be logged into your computer as the Administror.

NOTE: Sometimes anti-virus software is not up to date and may issue a warning. AccountEdge is a licensed application, signed and notarized, by both Microsoft and Apple. If you get this error, you can mark the installation files as safe and whitelist them.

Install AccountEdge

Install AccountEdge for Windows

1. Click the download link we provided from our website, via email, or your AccountEdge online account, found here
2. Click on the downloaded AccountEdge Installer located in the lower left corner of your web browser (if you are using Chrome) or find where you saved the download
3. Click Next
4. Click ‘I accept the terms of the license agreement’
5. Click Next
6. Click Next
7. Click Next
8. Click Finish
9. The shortcut to AccountEdge will now show on your desktop

Install AccountEdge for Mac

1. Click the download link we provided from our website, via email, or your AccountEdge online account, found here
2. Click on the downloaded zipped file in your Downloads folder and then click the AccountEdge Installer
3. Click Agree
4. Drag the AccountEdge icon into the Applications icon
5. Locate AccountEdge in your Applications Folder and click on it
6. Click Open
7. Select ‘I accept the agreement’
8. Click Next, this will begin the installation process which may take a few minutes
9. When the process is completed, AccountEdge will automatically launch on your computer

Register AccountEdge

After you enroll in an AccountEdge subscription plan, you will receive a 12-digit serial number that you can use to register AccountEdge on your computer. Save this serial number in a safe place.  

If you have not enrolled yet, you can skip this step and use AccountEdge as a fully functioning 30-day trial.

Registration

1. When you launch AccountEdge, you will see the Welcome to AccountEdge window
2. Click on Please Register to begin the process
    

3. Fill out the registration form with your company information
4. Click Register
5. Once the software it successfully registered you will receive the message ‘Thank You for Registering’ and you can close that box.

TIP: Avoid using special characters (like ! # $) in text fields, except for the @ sign in your email address.
